Alpinia Botanic Garden

The Alpinia Botanic Garden, one of the best-known in the area of the Borromean Gulf, is close to the cableway stop of Alpino, on the route from the Lido of Carciano to Mottarone.

The view of Lake Maggiore from the garden is spectacular, taking in the Borromean Islands and the surrounding mountains. Its rich collection of botanical species, from as far afield as the Caucasus, China and Japan, makes it a magnet for plant-lovers.
